NC BEER MONTH KICKOFF
Thursday, March 31st, 5-10 p.m.
April is NC Beer Month, and for the fourth year in a row, the NC Craft Brewers Guild has all kinds of events and activities planned across the state. Here is Durham, there will be a Beer Month Kickoff at The Glass Jug. They’ll tap the last remaining keg of their collaboration with Mystery Brewing Company – the Triple Ginger Tripel. They’ll also have a cask of Olde Hickory Brewery Event Horizon barrel-aged imperial stout with coffee, along with a very special beer from the good folks at Wicked Weed Brewing. To keep you fed, they’ve partnered with Ko Kyu Na’Mean to provide amazing sandwiches.BULL CITY FOOD & BEER EXPERIENCE
Sunday, April 10th, 4 p.m.
The fourth annual Bull City Food & Beer Experience at DPAC will offer pairing and sampling of over 20 Durham restaurants and North Carolina Breweries, as well as a selection of delicious NC food vendors in the lobby. In addition DPAC’s stage area will feature specialty import breweries plus live music. Purchase your tickets before they sell out (must be 21+). At last year’s event, we ate for three hours straight and it was glorious. TASTE THE EVENT
April 21-23
Durham Magazine and Chapel Hill Magazine present TASTE – a three-day food festival featuring many of the area’s top chefs and restaurants. While two of the main events are already sold out (The Grand Taste Experience and a Nana’s dinner), there is still availability for the family cookout at Maple View Farm on Saturday, April 23rd. Once again, Bites of Bull City is looking forward to providing live coverage of all the delicious bites at The Grand Taste Experience this year. DURHAM BLUES & BREWS FESTIVAL
Saturday, May 21st, 5-10 p.m.
The Durham Blues and Brews Festival is back this May at Durham Central Park. Enjoy over 20 delicious NC craft brews with unlimited 12 oz. pours, rockin’ blues music from nationally known musicians, and food trucks (for purchase). Plus, last year’s event raised over $23,000 for local charities!
