Celebrate local food with samples from Durham and Chapel Hill-based chefs, paired with wines from around the world. This intimate event will allow attendants to experience and learn more about the local culinary scene while also learning about international wines. Food will be sampled from Scott Howell of Nana’s, Michael Lee of M Sushi, Bill Smith of Crooks Corner, Eric Montagne if Standard Foods, Charlie Deal of JuJube, Brandon Sharp of Carolina Crossroads at the Carolina Inn, Aaron Benjamin of Gocciolina, Jim Wald of Glasshalfull, Tim Lyons of Blu Seafood and Kevin Callaghan of ACME.
The event will also raise money for Keep Durham Beautiful, a volunteer organization working with the City of Durham’s General Services Department and the County of Durham to bring private businesses, citizens and community organizations together to conserve and enhance the appearance and environment of Durham.
